Greetings form the hot Midwestern United States!
What’s more than hot temperatures is the hot topic of finances. Global, national and personal finances seem to be at the forefront of the news nowadays. While it hits the headlines in the hearts of many is the desire to be out from under the load of debt. But how to do it and which way to go seems to be the real issue. Freedom in this area is achievable and also God’s will for each of us. A scripture always comes to mind when I think of money.
“The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” Proverbs 22:7 (KJV)
When it comes to money, you and I will ultimately find ourselves on one side or the other, “The servant or the ruler”. Are you the master of your money or is someone else taking it from you each week? In order to be the ruler of our money there are some things we should consider. I have listed four for your consideration.
First is the power of money. “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” 1 Tim. 6:10 (KJV)
Secondly is “money cannot and never will satisfy”. “He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.” Eccles. 5:10 (KJV)
Thirdly, is no way to be free when we are in bondage. That sounds pretty elementary yet it is overlooked in much of the world today. “The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” Proverbs 22:7 (KJV)
And fourthly there is a need to be content with the things we have.
“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. [12] I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. [13] I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philip. 4:11-13 (KJV)
When these simple principles are applied great results will take place. If you in debt and would like to be free, check out the studies entitled, “Financial Freedom” and “Borrowing Money” . Thanks for being a part of this ministry and I pray it is a blessing to you.

Here’s the daily inspirational scripture!
“But godliness with contentment is great gain. [7] For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. [8] And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. [9] But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.” 1 Tim. 6:6-9 (KJV)
Sincerely
Greg Wirths
